Babe will cop to using plastic bags to cart home her veggie burgers and LARA bars from time to time. She would have been waiting in line at Whole Foods to get one of those “I’m Not A Plastic Bag” totes, if she could get her idle backside out of bed that early…and could tolerate lines. But Babe found a much more original way to carry her snacks and recycle old grocery bags. Designer Lee Kirsty can take any old bit of plastic and turn it into a fabulous, one-of-a-kind shoulder bag or clutch. If you insist on keeping those ugly yellow Gristede’s bags for collecting trash, just go onto her website to order one already made. I Feel Used handbags, prices vary at edeneverafter.com.
